Thomas the Tank Engine
Yesterday we drove 100 miles to see Thomas the Train. The wutz loved it, of course. The train ride was a whopping twenty-five minutes long. I hate trains, but I grinned and beared it for the wutz. He really did have a blast. Oh, and Granny and PopPop went with us, so he came home with a bag full of toys from the gift shop. They were enough to entertain him for the first 10 minutes or so at Cracker Barrel once we left from seeing Thomas.

Fall Sampler
We spent yesterday afternoon at a local plantation at their annual Fall Sampler. It is mainly for the kids, with pony rides, Thomas the Train wagon rides, a petting zoo, and all the typical carnival food one could desire. It was a lot of fun, aside from the wutz suffering from a horrid cold. He took it all in stride, which means he pretty much forgot about his illness by the fifth ride on Thomas the Train!

Pebble Hill Plantation
One section of the stable. Nice huh? Don't show this picture to my horses, please!

Daddy's Little Helper
He simply refused to take off that ugly John Deere hat. But he loved riding in the loading cart thingy!
(Pix were snapped with my cell phone, which accounts for the terrible quality!)
